Nice Cool Weather

I'm so excited because the weather has cooled down tremendously and we are now experiencing weather in the 60s and the 70s, which I can handle a lot better than weather in the late 90s and early 100s. That was much, much too hot for own personal comfort. It looks like the cool weather will at least last until next week, but I don't know beyond that.

Waking up Early

I got inspired to write this article after visiting another website. That website belongs to a completely different niche; however, the author of that site had some interesting thoughts which I think are worth mentioning. Anyway, I would like to discuss the idea of waking up early. I believe that waking up early is a good habit for bloggers, because blogging requires a lot of work. If you get up early then you can accomplish more things. This is definitely the biggest argument as any successful blogger will tell you that you will need to invest a lot of time if you want to be successful. I also think that it is easy to write a lot of posts in the morning, but for most people in the evening it is harder to do any work. I mentioned that this applies to most people and not to all, because I know that a lot depends on the individual. Some bloggers have the most work done during the night. On the other hand, since for most people it is more natural to work in the morning, our productivity would increase if we were getting up a little bit earlier. Try to get up earlier, and see how it works for you.

Making Summer Clothes

Since coming here for school, last August, I've lost about 25 pounds and consequently, all of the summer clothes-- well most of them since some of them are drawstring and those still fit, don't fit anymore and are too large. So, I've been going through all of my clothes and getting rid of the ones that are just way too big and then I'm trying to think of ways that I can make the remaining clothes fit better. I think that I am going to just take them in on the leg. But, I don't want to mess up the pockets in the front or the back, so I think that I do it mostly from the back, then it won't mess up the front pocket. I don't know though because I have never tried to take in pants before so if anyone has any good pointers or ideas out there, let me know! I don't want to spend money on new clothes right now so I am trying to make do with what I have.

I have also cut off the legs on a few pairs of pants to turn them into shorts or capris. I have done that before, and that is not a problem at all. I just wish that I knew a better way than my made up way of taking the pants in.

I also think that I am going to sew some skirts and shorts for myself. I have a fair amount of fabric, so that I think that it shouldn't be too hard. I've made both before, just never for myself, but I do have plenty of patterns, so I think that it will work out alright!

Yay!

The apartment is now finally termite free! But, the apartment smells HORRIBLE because of the stuff that they used to kill them all. Yuck, hopefully, it will go away soon. We have all of the windows open, luckily it is a very nice day, but I don't know how much that will help. I just hope that it helps a whole lot.

The Wind is Blowing

It is very windy outside, at least, it sounds very windy outside. I haven't personally gone out there and checked, but I sure can hear it! And, I like it a lot. To me, it sounds like a storm is brewing out there or something else like that. As long as I am safe and warm inside, I don't care if the wind howls or not.... plus, for some reason, that actually is putting me into a mood wehre I would want to get some of my school work done. I guess it is because there is no way that I would want to go outside since it is so windy!! Everything would blow away!

Anyway, I think that I had better get back to what I was doing and finish writing my paper before my mood changes and I no longer want to work on it. And knowing me, that would totally happen!!
